The shower room in our recently purchased barn converted property required significant modernisation. We recognised that this would not be a straightforward job as walls sloped badly, corners were not square and the existing plumbing was woefully inadequate. Therefore we were delighted when these ‘difficulties’ were easily overcome through Martin’s keen eye and ingenuity, his attention to detail and his overwhelming dedication to perfection. This attitude, together with his customer focused approach, total reliability, and determined efforts to meet our requirements, has resulted in a new shower room of which we are very proud. I first met Martin about 18 months ago, in the course of my work, and found him to be a knowledgeable, talented and enthusiastic general builder. He has done several jobs for me personally at my house since then, including fixing a roof leak, putting up a mantelpiece over the fireplace and mending the broken toilet. When you came around to advise on my thoughts in relation to an extension you quickly came up with a cheaper suggestion in opening up more space by removing one of the interior walls and using a steel girder to maintain the necessary support. I have been delighted with the final result, within the space of 4 days you had completely transformed the room including the fitting of a lovely tiled floor.

I am always happy to recommend your high quality work to friends because I know that the work will be completed to a high standard but also with an eye to the fact that you tidied up after yourself at the end of each day, what a revelation.
